英文翻譯社在英文翻譯各類文章時，都會遇到修辭，修辭的手法有很多種，怎樣翻譯出這些修辭的效果，簡單的講有幾點：
 
首先，修辭的英文翻譯可以分為兩種情況
第一：Find an equivalent image.
就是用相同意思和數量的詞語就可以譯出原文.
 
例一：Hold fast to your dreams，For if dreams die，Life is a broken winged bird. That can not fly.
Hold fast to your dreams，For if dreams die, Life is a barren field，frozen with snow.
緊緊抓住夢想，因為如果夢想消亡，生命便如同折翼的鳥兒，無法展翅翱翔。
緊緊抓住夢想，因為如果夢想消亡，生命便如同貧瘠的曠野，同冰雪一起凝固。
 
例二：Friendship is like the breeze，You cannot hold it,smell it，taste it
友誼如和煦的微風，你握不到它，聞不到它，嘗不到它。
 
第二：compensation就是可以補充一些表達，使譯文更完整，更有生動情景，表達出作者描述的意思.
例一： Up high in the city We see the face of sky dirty on a sheet of paper we draw a new sky clearer
在城市的高處，我們看見，天空被弄髒了臉，在紙上，我們畫一片天，乾淨的藍天。
 
例二：We will grow bright  saplings covered with dews， like stars twinkling.
我們要在乾淨的天空上，重傷水靈的小樹苗，讓它頂著露珠，就像天空閃耀的星星。
 
例三When fresh raindrops come，and moisten a guava，s lips，from the sky we will remove，the big pipe of the city。 We will let a little red bee，fly in the clear sky and his textbook，filled with traces of spring
